LimeNET 2.0

LimeNET 2.0 is a complete network-in-a-box solution built on the field proven Lime Software-Defined Radio (LimeSDR) platform. It offers an array of qualified hardware solutions by combining LimeSDR boards with commodity compute platforms and additional components such as power amplifiers and duplexers for a complete product offering.

LimeNET 2.0 products run Ubuntu Linux and can be integrated with both private and public networks. LimeNET 2.0 replaces proprietary equipment and APIs with open-source commodity hardware and open APIs, thereby providing a radical alternative model to the closed wireless network equipment
offered by incumbent vendors today.

5G NR bands up to 4.2GHz and RF power output of up to 1W per channel is supported as standard, with the required frequency band and power level specified by the customer after placing an order. The RF band and power can then be changed at a later date, but it may require purchasing a new RF front-end (RFE) unit.

A base LimeNET 2.0 configuration supports 5G Standalone (SA) only. However, systems may be upgraded to support 4G and 5G NSA networks with the addition of second RFE unit.
